Thousands of years ago, the gods fought on land and sea to determine who was the strongest and most powerful. But the land now lays ravaged and seperated by vast tracks of deserts and sea. Now, it is up to you to restore the fractured kingdoms into one, all-encompasing, empire... under your rule.
The humans are coming back to conquer their lost lands. Watch out for any teal colored banners; the're always trouble.
Dragon artifacts
Powerful artefacts, made from defeated dragons in ages past, lay about the region. But each is said to be garded by the very creatures that they are made from.
Dead battlefield
They say there's a place you can go, if your in to the black arts, where the dead walk an ancient battlefield. It's only accessable by a portal created, long ago, by a mad necromancer.
Kh'ra rumor
Cirrus is good for parlor tricks, but rumor has it that the troglodytes of Kh'ra mine more ressouces in a single week than most dwarves do in two!
Tower rumor
They say that there's a magical island somewhere between the Heretic and Beastmasters territories covered in snow and ice.

Kh'ra may have the gold, but the hidden Arch Magi city of Cirrus has all the power...
Dragon utopia
It is said that buried deep beneath the earth, dragons have established a utopia for their kind. There they store all their fortunes for safe keeping against raiding by mortals. The only known way to gain access to this place is via strange yellow tele-portals.
Pirates
Beware travelers of the high seas. Pirates have been sighted on the open waters!

General start message - 1
History recorded it as the Age of Wonders. A time when mortal beings and immortal gods walked the world, sharing in it's wealth and pleasures. Famine, war and disease where virtualy unknown to the original races of elves, dragons and humans. In time, many other races where born of these, bringing into the world much neaded diversity the gods themselves did not think of in their original design. And properity grew from the interactions of the original species with the newer cultures born into the world.
General start message - 2
But the gods began to fight against one another in the heavens for control over the various new cultures. The power they unleashed to battle between themselves grew in intensity until the heavens where in ruins. So the gods took to a new battleground: the very world they created. The fighting sent wave after wave of destruction onto the land. Entire races where annihilated by the amount of magic used to by gods and goddesses to kill each other. The various races where eventually draged into the battle to aid the very beings who created them. Some gods even took to raising the dead, so they could battle even after their mortal shells died.

After many decades, some of the deities realized what they where doing to the very fabric of the world, a world now on the brink of destruction. Once verdant forests where turned to ash covered deserts. Entire mountain ranges had sank into the earth to let seas fill in the void they left behind. But worst of all, the gods realized they where destroying the very beings who gave their existence meaning: the mortals.

And so it came to pass that the gods departed, ending the Age of Wonders. The conflict itself, now refered to The God Wars, is known to all as the darkess period in the history of the world. The various empires which have risen and fallen in the past thousands of years have never been able to recapture the might of the Age of Wonders. Only the Caraman civilization ever came close, but itself dissapeared many centuries ago. Will you be able to do it without becoming a page in someone's history book?
Sulmon's Prize (Garnott City)
Old texts unearthed from ancient ruins tell of an ancient city, liying in the center of the old Caraman Empire, called Garnott City. This city was apparently THE place for trade and commerce. It is also said that the city governors had the buildings along Garnott City's main street decorated with jewels and gold to further show the wealth that was the city's trademark. If such a place existed, you must find it. Who knows exactly how much wealth and treasure lies in Garnott City coffers and underground vaults.
