Moreover, your lifelong friend, {Rikki}, has finally agreed to join forces and support you. Your unique ability to command the beast {Behemoths} combined with Rikki's powers to manipulate the {Haste} spell will definitely be more than enough to conquer the Kingdom of Celendia. However, with only minimal resources and a small number of untrained troops, it may take a while before you can finally manage to challenge the King's armies and kill the evil witch Bloodruby for all her heinous crimes that have taken so many innocent lives.

Pious and devout, you have mastered the hidden secret of {Prayer}. It is too bad that your master did not allow you to take the book of Prayer and instead she just gave encouragement that you would learn the spell as you continue your journey.

Pillar -- Intro 3Because of your young age, it seems that some of Dadarin elders still have some reservation on your ability to lead Dadarin's main armies against the mighty Kingdom of Celendia. If only you could convince them of your newly found powers after rigorous training under the Immortal {Sage} {Zelgadis}. During your training, you managed to gain much understanding how the {Ballista} was made and had since perfected the machine to work at its best. It must be more than just pure luck that you find Dadarin's blacksmiths produce some of the best Ballista that you can certainly put to good use in battles ahead. Meanwhile, more magically inclined and yet more physically tougher, Shana-Shana, has also grown in powers. Unlike many magicians who solely depend on their magic power, Shana-Shana has developed more effective ways in dealing with her victims: weaken them to the point of incapacitation and finish them off with a strong offense. So far, it has been working wonderfully for her, especially because Shana-Shana has also developed the Armorer skill, a skill that makes her armies yet much harder to kill.

Once you acquire both the Necklace and the Hat, you can merge them together to form the {Admiral's} {Hat}, an artifact that will make traveling on sea and jumping from one island to another so much easier and faster without losing any valuable movement.

All -- Pathfinding and Estates/Scouting and MermaidRough terrain like desert, snow, and swamp are scattered about the kingdom and call for an expert pathfinder and tracker to traverse smoothly. Unfortunately, {Pathfinding} is a lost skill and one can only learn it by giving donation at the nearby shrine of Goddess of Earth and Fertility, {Marva}. It is also believed that a small donation to the temple will teach you the lost skill of {Estates}. The problems are you will need to find which shrine teaches which skill and have enough money to donate and learn the skills. Furthermore, there is a rumor that the majestic {Mermaid} will enchant all who visit her with the {Scouting} skill. Along with {Navigation} and {Logistics}, Pathfinding, Estates, and Scouting skills will surely come very handy for all the trackers and scouts in your armies.

All -- Bloodruby and her sistersThe spies from the palace have finally sent some useful, albeit gloomy, information. King Orson was getting deeper in his decadent life especially after Bloodruby brought in her sirenic sisters to hypnotize him even further: The beautiful but wicked {Evilpurse} who was in charge of overseeing all of the King's concubines and all the palace's maids and eunuchs. The stunning but dreadful {Blue} {Leper} whose duty remained mysterious except for the fact she was often seen alongside Bloodruby in every royal court meeting. Furthermore, the report said that Bloodruby had taken full control of the royal courts. Every member of the court feared her and they dared not to oppose all of her wishes. It is clear to you now that your ultimate goal is to exorcise the evil Bloodruby from the palace. The task may not be as easy as it sounds because not only Bloodruby's well-protected inside the palace, but also there may stand in your way Boodruby's loyal followers, disheartened generals that still stay loyal to the Kingdom of Celendia, and other factions with their own agenda. Needless to say, your main objective for now is to think about how to boost the economy and strengthen the army -- and do it fast because there is no telling when Bloodruby will send her generals to obliterate you and your fledgling army.

All -- Trading postA week has passed and progress has been slow. Nevertheless, you seem to finally get a hang on traveling on the sea, jumping from one island to another, collecting troops and gathering resources. It's a good thing that you have recruited some of the best heroes in the land to help you clear out the areas. The flotsam and chests found on the sea will surely help you finance your army. Wood may seem to be plentiful now but if you're not careful trading them at the {Marketplace} it all will be gone in a blink of an eye! It is always best to assign a hero to do all the trading at the nearby {Trading} {post}.

All -- ConfluxAfter gathering some useful information on the surrounding area, the Cartographers inform you that of all the neighborhood castles, it is the {Conflux} town that draws the most attention. Not only is there a {Magic} {University} built inside, but also there are the fabled {Enchanter} dwelling as well as the {Altar} {of} {Sacrifice} sitting close to the town. With the news that Bloodruby has ordered {all} of {Artifact} {Merchants} to {close}, the only way to get rid of useless artifacts is to sacrifice them at the Altar of Sacrifice for some nifty experience points. The good news is that the Conflux town doesn't have any protective walls. The bad news is that it is guarded by a strong hero. Rumor has it that the Conflux Guardian knows how to cast the {Resurrection} and {Prayer} spells well. It is clear that you should focus your effort to capture the Conflux town as soon as possible. The Magic University will allow you to learn the all-important {Earth} and {Water} skills -- two skills that you will sorely need in order to survive the battle against Bloodruby and her cohorts. Besides... there may be an easy way to cheat the two powerful spells from the Conflux Guardian.

Iason -- Water/ScholarIason looks a bit distracted after realizing that as a Barbarian he will never be able to learn the {Water} skill, even with the help from the Magic University. Nevertheless, the Cartographers are sure that the {three} {Scholars} found on the {far} {east} may have just the answer. Perhaps they may even teach you other useful {combat} skills for a fee.

Far to the {East}, there appears to be a well-fortified {Dungeon} castle guarded by the famous hero {Calid}. Calid's ability to sniff sulfur out of thin air is legendary and she always carries with her the artifact {Ring} {of} {Eversmoking} {Sulfur} that's been given to her by her master to enhance her skill. It's obvious that capturing a second, much needed Dungeon castle will be highly advantageous to your conquest -- not to mention having the help from Calid for all the sulfur she can produce to support your cause.

In between struggling with tight economy, building up your castles, and recruiting trained troops, you really need to give some of your best efforts to manage everything. Even before you can muster your best troops yet, the Cartographers have come up with new information. Far to the {West}, there lies a well-defended {Rampart} castle guarded by the famous Warlock {Sephinroth}. Sephinroth's ability to transform ordinary stones into valuable crystal is simply amazing not to mention the holy artifact she always carries with her: {Everflowing} {Crystal} {Cloak}. It's obvious that capturing a second, much needed Rampart castle will be to your best interest -- not to mention having the help from Sephinroth for all the crystal she can provide to support your economy.

Even before you can muster your best troops yet, the Cartographers have come up with new information. Far to the {West}, there stands a well-fortified {Fortress} castle guarded by the highly-skilled Battlemage {Saurug}. Not only Saurug can easily transform rhinestones into valuable gems, he also possesses the artifact {Ring} {of} {Infinite} {Gems} that makes his transforming effort so much faster. While a Fortress castle may not prove to be immediately useful, getting Saurug to help you and his magic ring will provide you with sufficient gems needed to purchase the Angels.

Rissa's talent to produce mercury out of ordinary metal is uncanny -- thanks to the sacred artifact {Endless} {Vial} {of} {Mercury} that she inherited from her master. While the mysterious castle may not be much of a help, having Rissa lend her talent will make hiring the Azure Dragons so much easier.

Moreover, they believe that the magical Lucid Pools emanating from under your starting castle of {Oriande} gives the castle's Mage Guilds a very good chance to produce the {Town} {Portal} spell. In addition, the Mage Guilds in the Rampart town of {Da'merzki} will also surely produce the {Resurrection} spell.

Druva -- Other colorsIt finally comes to your attention that you're not the only one leading a massive army to overthrow the despotic King. The clear contender is {Zeya}, your archrival ever since the two of you were training under the {Heavenly} {Master} {Nuriko}. You are confident that in one on one battle, you can beat Zeya handily. However, he's now become the Premier of {Xeqi} and is trusted to lead monstrous {Gold} and {Crystal} {Dragons} and other Xeqi armies to lead the attack on Celendia and whatever lies in the way. In addition, scouts have also confirmed similar call for arms in the Barbarian and Beastmaster's territory with {Iason} and {Rikki} as their leaders. It may be true that the {Princesses} of Celendia have taken charge leading the army of Dadarin to save the Kingdom but judging from how their move's shaping up, the Princesses are just after the kingdom for themselves. Besides it's well-known already that the King has disowned them and they no longer have any right to the throne. The immediate task in hand is clear: you must first defeat the Elemental Shrine's Guardian to obtain the relics that will make you stronger as well as visiting the Keymaster's Tent to gain access to the other side. Once you reach the other side, it will be a matter of proving who's stronger and finding the last Keymaster's Tent that will allow you to reach {Tira's} castle, {Amethyst}. Let everything be decided on the battlefield!

We have been friends for close to five years. You know how much I treasure our friendship and how much I love and treasure you. I have always tried to give all the best and I really have given you my everything. And I mean... EVERYTHING. Yet, everything that I did was never enough for you. Worse, I meant nothing to you. The worst of all, I feel that you really just used me. You took everything that I had given you freely and yet you treated me like someone meaningless. For the life of me, I would never understand how you could never miss a day to go to post office to pick up the package that I sent to you and yet it would take you much longer days to talk to me or even to say thanks to me, if at all. And even a simple postcard that I asked you to send me, it took you more than a month. Of course, you never exactly gave me anything worth mentioning either. I refused to believe that you're an evil person who would just use me but apparently, that was the real you. All that I wanted was talking to you, but you would always find a reason not to talk to me. It's true you would sometimes go talking to me for hours till late at night and sometimes you would do something incredibly nice. But, Dan, if you could disconnect your phone so that I couldn't talk with you again, that was like cutting my lifeline off. And even on the night before your phone went off, you could still give me an ultimatum that I only had 10 minutes left to talk. Even when I asked you to read the e-mail that I wrote to you begging you to not disconnect your phone, you could mercilessly delete it. And you know, the most amazing thing of all, you picked up quite a lot of stuffs from me earlier that day and you were even enjoying the candy that I sent to you at the very moment you did all those cruel things to me. I could go on but I just want to write this in my last HoMM3 map as a kind of revelation for all the pain that you have really caused me and I have endured. I hope that someday you will realize just how mean and evil what you did to me. I really don't want to hate you because we were such awesome friends in the past, but well, you have really left me so beat up and without hope. Anyhow, I still hope that one day you will come to your senses and we can be good or best friends again.... And we can talk and laugh like in the good old days and perhaps meet with each other and much better friendship.
