You are S'mour, battle commander of Kangshun Dalg, one of the three great cities in the swamplands in Romendor. You have just freed Caluso Dalg from foreign invaders, but the culprit Mergret, an evil wizard, has fled. Together with Ferl, aid-de-camp for Lord Titan, you decide to hunt him down.
