The King of Landsrad has charged you, Marcus the Cleric, with the task of finding out the cause of the recent troubles throughout the land. Several worthwhile quests, two distinct paths mid game and you are safe from attack until ready but you must move quickly to aquire the best artifacts.

The story thus far...You are Marcus the cleric and have been choosen by the King to quell the unrest that has risen as of late in the nearby town of Ardentia to the south and to try and determine where all these strange hostile creatures have been coming from.

more storyTo the east lies the realm of the Elven Lords who are on good terms with the King of Landsrad. To the north is a rough and barren landscape peopled by the wild barbarians while far to the south is a large swamp. The ways into these two areas are blocked to keep the inhabitants there at bay.

Elven messengerA travellor has arrived from the Elven Lands and tells a tale of growing unease among the Lords and of suspicion of all outsiders. There was even talk of the elves closing their borders to all others, something they have never done in your memory. Perhaps they know something you don't...

Traveller from the northA weary traveller who managed to make his way over the mountains to the north is heard talking in the local tavern. He tells of his arduous journey over the mountains that no other man or army could possibly make but more importantly, how the northern barbarians are gearing up quickly for war.
