Intro

You are Malleus, a knight of the blue order. Armageddon's Blade is supposed to be buried in this land and you intend to find it. But that is not all; you must also eliminate your enemies because they also seek the blade! Unfortunately, they are already entrenched and you have no nearby castles. Therefore, your first priority is to take one of their encampments. After you've done that, you next goal is to find Armageddon's Blade. However, you cannot allow one of your foes find it first. If that happens, then you are surely doomed.

Key Guards

Preliminary scouts report that the weakest leaders arrived last, and have worse locations farther away from the subterranean gate. Follow the dirt path and you will find the gateway underground. They also report that each ruler has set up border checks underground and you can only pass them if you have defeated that lord (and visited their keymaster tent). Insurgents report that no one even knows where Armageddon's blade is... yet. Thus, it might be inadvertanly gaurded by one of the gates, so you may need to investigate carefully.
Background

You spend the early hours of the morning reviewing the lore of Armageddon's Blade. Of course, everyone knows what it is rumored to do, but you are more interested in its whereabouts. A great wizard, Xenofex, is said to have created the blade from a Breastplate of Brimstone, a Sword of Hellfire, and a Shield of the Damned. It was later captured by Catherine of Enroth. May her soul rest in peace, you think instinctively. Anyway, this is all lore that any child knows. Now for the more forgotten records. In her great reign, Catherine eventually hid the blade, in a shrine on the hills of Rionpoint. Here the blade was forgotten, and fell into disuse, until the witch Adrienne discovered it some decades later. By now, she was well past her prime, and used the blade's powers to extend her life and exonerate her life as a fire mage. It is unknown why, but one day she suddenly became afraid of the blade, and banished it to the underworld. Many think the blade was more strong-willed than her, and did not like to be used for good. Nevertheless, she went mad a few months later and kept raving about what was 'Beneath Nighon.' Many figured she had sent the blade there, and ambitious lords went to claim it. For many years, however, overlords, who kept out of the affairs of the surface, fiercely gaurded the entrance below. Now, word is that overlords know about it too, and are spending less time in isolation so they can hunt for it. Four other lords have come in the past months. They had time to build outposts safe from the others. You just arrived three days ago. It's time to kill them and claim the sword for yourself!

He capitulates under your interogation involving Armageddon's Blade and tells you everything he knows about it. We heard that there was a warrior underground who knew where the sword is... but now he's just a ghost. I don't know if my master ever found his tomb, but if he did, he probably told him where the sword rests... But that's all I know! After all, I'm just a messenger!

- Сообщение: The necropolis towers ahead menacingly. You know that to defeat it you will need the support of more than just your spellbook and sword. Troops will constitute a vital part of this assault. As you signal your army's approach, you feel an uneasy chill freeze your breath. Magical ice forms along the surface of the ground as if a wizard had summoned a winter freeze. You realize the cause of this enigma when you see the telltale form of Azure Dragons burst from the ground. A necromatic gaurd signals his captain of the threat and the undead armies apathetically engage a missile defense from the battlements. Meanwhile the captain conjures a spell which slowly melts the ice. Fire crackles and the dragons can no longer endure the bombardment. The captain enhances his spell which scorches the landscape, turning it molten. From the embers of coal and magma coalesce several Crystal Dragons which rally and eradicate the rest of the Azure pack. You watch in silent horror at the outstanding power of these two armies and slowly realize that they have shifted their gaze to your army. Your troops consolidate and ready their arms!

Unfamiliar with their races, you fruitlessly attempt negotiation. Before you initiate a battle you survey your surroundings. The castle was ravaged before the dragons came here, and you see lots of troops willing to join your army if you can dispel the threat.
