You are Borok Readbeak, warlord of the Mercenary Guild. Your forces have suffered humiliating defeats at the hands of the Elves of the Tea Guild. You must rally your armies and counterattack, or face a shameful death at the hands of the leaf-drinkers.
The general of the Tea Guild forces, Jagan the Ruthless, is pursuing the remnants of our field army. He and his lieutenants, accompanied by a force of humans, have penetrated into our territory, and are poised to overrun our southern cities.

Your unlucky general, Brutor the Blunt, fell in the last battle. Command of the remnant of your army has been transferred to Yung, one of the few chieftans left alive. You must decide whether to use him and his army as bait, or order him to retreat and save his strength for another fight.
reget mines
As usual, in the absence of the field army, several of our mines have been closed due to treason or laziness. Some of the dissenters may be brought back into the fold, however, should you chose to grant them clemency.
holy spot
Wise leaders will benefit greatly from a pilgrimage to the orcish holy place near the edge of Griffin Lake. You will find Griffin Lake northwest of the pass to Griffin Beach. As with all orcish shrines, you will see nothing but a patch of bare ground, but it is a place of great power nonetheless.

Traitors abound. The outcasts of the Wyrm Guild have betrayed us once again. It is our punishment for tolerating their presence beneath our territories for so long.

One of the Wyrm Guild agents secured the master key to the main gate of the Tea Guild's capitol, Elfrock. We assisted them, and they promised it to us. Witnessing our recent defeats at the hands of the leaf-drinkers, however, they have broken the alliance.

As soon as you can spare the forces, send a contingent to the underworld to crush the traitors and take the key by force. We will need it if we are to successfully bypass the enchanted forest which guards Elfrock.
reinforcements
Our spies report that the Tea Guild is receiving massive reinforcements from the neighboring Elf kingdoms. The reinforcements are arriving in Elfrock, so capture that city as soon as possible.
