Сообщение: The dark that came at Dusk was a welcome relief to Drakti. The cool darkness of night will always be the most welcoming part of the overworld day to him. The night has passed swiftly though, and it is time to move once more. However, as he prepares his followers to step forward into this new land, the sound of marching feet comes up from behind, and a veritable small army issues from the distant stairs. Leading them, though, is friend Zikti, who now approaches Drakti. Hail, Bane of the Undead he shouts as he sights Drakti. You seem surprised my friend. Be not so, for with the Guardian gone, many can now pass this way to join you. Indeed this deed has greatly increased your reputation and standing. More folk once linked with us now wish to join you, including the more than ordinarily sighted Beholders! The new army joins Drakti while he converses with Zikti. Eventually, his friend announces that he must leave and continue to spread the word. It is only then as they embrace each other in farewell that Drakti suddenly notices something astonishing. Сообщение: Hallideon watches Drakti as he approaches. Standing between the flowering beds either side of him, the Troglodyte looks straight at Hallideon. To the Arch-Angel, it seems there is almost no difference from how it was before, almost as if the hero can see him without actually needing any eyes at all! Marvelling, he begins to speak. My friend - welcome to the sunlit world. Here dwells life at its most abundant and it is under the limitless sky that you will encounter creatures only heard of in myth and in song. This land you now stand in, is the realm of the Wizards. They are strong in the ways of magic, but benevolent nonetheless. They are not warriors and indeed forbear the sword. However, their magics are the equal of the physical weapons of other peoples; indeed some would say superior! I strongly urge you to learn of their ways, for they can teach you much. Magic will greatly assist you in the battles ahead, and you will not find a better place to learn it! However, all services have a price, and the wizards are no different. Speak with them, for unless I am greatly mistaken, they are currently in need of the, shall we say, more 'traditional' services one such as yourself can provide. With your leave, I will now teach you some fundamentals of the higher realms of magic. Only then can you graduate to the loftier levels of the arcane arts. Sit now at my feet and I will teach you what you need to know. Obediently, Drakti sits and Hallideon begins his instruction ...

Сообщение: Now that you have the authority to pass the north gate, the mages on guard duty are happy to befriend you. Drakti joins them for a meal and a drink. The wizards ask about your quest and they also tell you a little about Ar-Vemist, their leader. He's very, very old, even for a wizard. Nobody can remember how old he actually is, and he's even forgotten himself, but we think its several centuries at least. He's the most knowledgeable magician alive today, but he is also the most arrogant. He's been working on the conversion spell to change ordinary Giants into Super Giants, or Titans as he likes to call them. Claims these creatures will even be able to hurl thunderbolts! Well, it looks like he's finally done it. But that wasn't the only thing he created! The spell's taken on a life of its own and its generated thousands of creatures all over the land. We had some immense battles to get rid of the ones here in the centre. We used up all our gem reserves doing it. Although it was quite enjoyable, we also recognize what a dangerous situation we're in. However, some of the younger ones think its all a game. And ... The young mage talking to you lowers his voice, almost to a whisper. I shouldn't say this really, but we think our illustrious leader didn't make a mistake with the spell as he thinks. One of my good friends is called Yon, and he told me that he sabotaged the spell whilst Ar-V. was in his incantation trance!! Yon's a bit short on patience but he's a damn fine spell caster. He's bored with never ending research and wants a bit of fun. I say its getting out of hand though. We're in danger of getting overrun by the creatures if we can't shut that spell down. It doesn't just create Titans; it creates other creatures too. Yon's having so much fun leading armies of creatures and fighting others that he's quite lost his perspective on the dangers of it all. You are our only hope to put a stop to this ridiculous game of his before he puts all our lives in irrevocable danger. Either defeat his armies directly, or get enough gems to enable Ar-Vemist to shut down the out of control spell and deprive Yon of any more creatures for his armies. Yon's not a bad sort; he's just naive and reckless. Oh, and feel free to pass through here at any time. No need to ask. Drakti thanks the guards and steps into the northern sector of the Vale.
