    Several hundreds of years ago a small, unknown man by the name of Kirk Shire came into power deep within the mountains of a largely uninhabited desert island. His city, the City of Kirk, grew from a fledgling town into a huge fortress of power. Few of the worlds most prominent leaders knew what

    he was doing, and few cared. He became well known for making grandiose promises and keeping them. He promised that his city would become a huge trade center, and it did. In his free time he began to hunt and increase his personal strength. During long nights he would practice magic for hours on end.

    Little did anyone know that he was already stronger than most of the worlds leaders. A few eyebrows were raised when he imposed a communistic set of directives on his city. David, the prominent leader of the time, told him that he better keep to himself. This angered Kirk greatly and he promised

    one day he would rule the world. Few paid attention to this audacious claim. Hundreds of years passed. Kirk was such a strong magician that he was able to extend his life for millenia. His power increased, year by year, but he never attacked anyone. Most people forgot about him.

    But then came the day when he came out of the mountains and began to attack the land surrounding him with pounding force. It wasn't long before he had claimed the entire desert island! The world has been awakened now to his power. The six factions of the world - Lord Mchone, Andy Freeman,

    Candelia, Semerof, David Westgate, and Mike McDermott, were supposed to meet a month ago. However, age old tensions have arisen between these factions and instead of banding together to defeat Kirk, it's become every man for himself.

    You arrive back at your home city, Palenthesis, to see that conditions have gone downhill. Rumors are circulating the city that war is imminent, and Kirk's ships have been reported not too far off shore. Stress weighs heavily upon your shoulders, and there is not a moment to rest.

    Word has reached you that the arm of Kirk is spreading rapidly throughout the world. You and David have always been seen as the the defenders of the planet and it is time to spring into action. Nobody will stop your conquest of evil.

    You've never been a major player in world events. For the past decade you have slowly built up your forces, with the hope of someday conquering the world. Now your opportunity has come.

    As you look out over the rolling hills and forests of your small alcove, you wonder how you are going to survive the coming months. You have abundant resources, but a weak army to go about procuring them. It will take a good deal of strategy on your part to win

    You consider yourself lucky that you're still alive. However, you're still shaken after losing your castle and your livelihood to that hideous Andy Freeman. How dare he oust you! But there are more pressing matters to deal with first: Kirk's scouts have been reported in the area.

    Your celebration over the conquest of McDermitron is over. Kirk is at your back door and it won't be long before he will come knocking. Defense should be your first priority. Perhaps you should travel north and take back the old Pelican Air base. It may prove useful.

    Word has reached you that Kirk has recently defeated the DemiGod Zues and has imprisoned him on his island. If you could save him he would be of great aid to your army.

    A messenger reports that there is a large horde of treasure hidden in a secret underground location by the name of AntiExistence. According to what the messenger says it could be of great aid to your quest. In order to access the treasure you will need to visit four travelers tents.
  • The fourth day (all)
    Rumor has it that a shipwreck has recently occured 150 miles west of Palenthesis, and that it was one of Kirk's scout ships.
