    Here's how it all started - one night a great storm began. Sky cracked in half by a lightning of immense power and a twister started sucking The Great Sea up to the stars. Greatest Magicians of the land of Castles and Dreams casted spells of protection and said words of power. But they had little success - countries remained untouched, but the sea was no more. Time passed and scouts reported that strange buildings materialized from the hot desert air and formed structures like castles no one ever seen before. Your men tried to sneak closer but were attacked by creatures you referred before as elementals. But they were not wild - they were led by Heroes, who excelled in combat and magical skills. Your raiding party was lucky to avoid destruction.

    On a council your best prophets told you that Elemental Lords came here from distant lands which lay beneath the reality we know. Banished by creatures less smart, but much stronger than they were, they teleported their castles to the land of Castles and Dreams in search for a better life. Though they were not petitioners - they were conquerors. Transforming the Great Sea into desert was only their first step in a task to seize your and your neighbor's lands. Elders tried to form an alliance with the neighboring kingdoms but their negotiations went phut - your ambassador Lord Rulez mystically disappeared. You don't even know what to think - a treachery? Maybe so... A bad news is that Elemental Lords sent their representative - High Priest and Executioner of Evilsyde Shadowcast. His experience is enormous and his skills in might and magic are supreme. Beware this one!

    You were a warlord of your kingdom for long enough to assume - this land changed much from a genuine Castles and Dreams. Though you still can deal the same with existing wild creatures inhabiting your lands, desert creatures are different beasts from the ones you know. Nomads moved here just some time ago. They always travel after desert and a new desert means a new Nomad settling. They love gold and glory, so they are mostly compliant to someone who can offer them both. Also they excel in a skill of finding water supplies: so if you need a well - search for the nearest nomad settling. After The Great Sea disappeared their appeared swamps. Swamps are inhabited by Swamp Beasts. You never see one before you run into a pack or even more. They bring death to every careless traveller to feast on his dead body. Golems are weak-minded magical creatures. Beware them, cause they will never join your forces! Though golems are made of valuable materials, like iron, gold, ore even crystals! Disassembling them often pays off.

    And now is the last and the worst news for you - Magicians say that spells Fly, Dimension Door and Town Portal were lost. Your infiltrators in neighboring kingdoms say that your neighbors are also trying to work this problem out but didn't succeed much yet. So, don't count on these ones. By the way - you may try to dig for Grail, build a Grail Structure in a Conflux town and copy ALL the existing spells in your spellbook. Think about it, my lord.
