События

Week 1

You and your ally watch your workers depart by frigate in the morning sun. Looking around the hostile landscape you take a deep breath and set yourself to the task ahead.
Day 10

Scouts arrive at night and tell of a guarded underground entrance near the center of the map. Creatures carrying loads of gems and sacks of gold have been seen going in and out of the entrance. Your heroes grip their weapons tightly, knowig that your orders will entail assaulting this landmark.
Week 3

The workers of your mines report hearing strange noises underground. Perhaps another race exists beneath the depths, and if so, your work will be all the more difficult.
Pirates!!!!!

Pirates have invaded the coasts of the islands, stealing some of your resources. You mumble a curse to earringed men and their ilk. A pox on their manhood!!
Shipment!!

A vassal of your army arrives by ship and reports that the economy of your City State is flourishing. The citizens of your city enjoy plenty, and have yielded high taxes this month.
Weary

Your warriors pant with exertion as they trudge along the muddy roads and traverse the savage frontier. This battle has raged for a quarter of a year, now, and your war-weary limbs are feeling the months of strain.
Letter

A letter arrives by carrier pigeon: I have noticed that I am still paying for your little war over there on the coast, and I would just like to remind you that your position as the leader of the forces of this Nation depends on the swiftness as well as the efficacy of your campaign. The King
Injured

A number of your warriors have starved this last week because food supplies grow thin. A generous amount of wood is needed for hospitals and stretchers that famine suddenly neccessitates.

A letter arrives by carrier pigeon: You are the most incompetent military leader I have ever seen. My coffers weep from financing your ill-begotten war, and I have no choice but to seize your holdings to recompense the nation for your negligent management of your estates The King
