Flight From {Enroth} - Острова А
- Пролог: The Apocalypse of Enroth ******************************* And in those cheerless days the Dark Tide came upon all the land. Where the Tide fell, the very life was sucked from the land. And the people did mourn and suffered great tribulations. The crops in the fields did wilt and fail. The beasts that could, fled, those that could not met death. And so great was the desolation that the very waters became black and murky. The winds did not move, nor did the clouds cover the angry sun. The misery of the people waxed great. The mighty of the land, the good and the evil, gathered together. They came from all corners of the land; from Towers, from Libraries, from Cloud Castles, from Citadels, from Keeps, from domiciles of every description. The gathered heroes wielded great power. The fierce Barbarian stood shoulder to shoulder with the beautiful Sorceress. The righteous Knight and the learned Wizard stood united in purpose with the mystical Warlock. And even as the heroes convened, more evil did befall them. The sun of Enroth did fail, and it came no more to bless the land. *************************************** 4 5 *************************************** The people of the cursed land huddled in their cottages and huts, denied even the comfort of fire. Now was the evil complete. Never had Enroth known such catastrophe. The very existence of life in the land hung by a thread. And the voice of the people arose in great lamentations. Who will save us? was their cry. Who may resist this unstoppable Dark Tide? And the plea for succor was heard in every corner of the land. Great was the harvest of skeletons. The merciless onslaught of the dark ones rolled over the darkened land. Foul zombies devoured the flesh of their helpless victims. Grinning skeletons slaughtered any flesh that moved. Those who sought to flee, knew not where to go in the impenetrable blackness. And Silverflame was sent on a desperate mission to find allies, sailing into parts unknown. And he brought back a most wondrously beautiful hero ashore to the wrecked lands, accompanied by a horde of Crusaders. And this hero did convince the king and the people to take refuge in her land, Erathia. For because of the depravations of the Dark Tide, Enroth could not sustain any life. And with heavy hearts the remnants of Enroth did board the great sea vessels, and did leave behind the land of their birth. ***** *** *
- Эпилог: The Charge of the Nomads ********************************* Half a league, half a league, half a league onward, all in the valley of Death rode the Nomads. Forward The Chaotic! Charge for Evil! they said. Into the valley of Death rode the Nomads. Forward, the Nomads! Was there a man dismayed? Not though the warriors knew! Someone had blundered. Theirs not to make reply. Theirs not to reason why. Theirs but do and die. Into the valley of Death rode the Nomads. Liches to the right of them, liches to the left of them, necromancers in front of them, volleyed and thundered; stormed at with shot and hell. Boldly they rode and well, into the jaws of Death, into the mouth of hell, rode the Nomads. Flashed all their swords bare, flashed as they turned in air, mauling skeletons there, charging an army, while all Enroth wondered. Plunged in the Dark Tide's smoke, right through the line they broke. Necro and Death Knight reeled from the sword stroke, shattered and sundered. Then they rode back, but not, not all the Nomads. * * * * * Liches to the right of them, Liches to the left of them, necromancers behind them, volleyed and thundered; stormed at with shot and hell, While horse and hero fell, they that had fought so well came back through the jaws of Death. Back from the mouth of hell, all that was left of them, left of the Nomads. And then it was over. Pulsar StarGrave fled the battlefield. The fleet was beyond his reach. And the last of Nomads rode up to their commander. And The Wanderer sighed: When can their glory fade? O the wild charge they made! All the world wondered. Honor the charge they made! Honor The Nomads. And they were to accompany him as heroes on his search for Erathia. ***** *** *
- Примечание: While {the Astral Wizard} escapes from {Enroth}, {The Wanderer} makes his way through the Dungeon to find {Save Havens}. In his travels he meets an old aquaintance, who tells him to secure {The Cloak of The Undead King}. If succesfull {The Wanderer} and his two best captains will carry over their experience, skills and spells to the next scenario.

{The Lazy Dragon} - Острова В
- Пролог: Islands ************************************* After a few weeks of leisure time, scouts have reported that behind the mountains covering the back of Chill, there is a huge body of water. The troops are full of hope. But before setting sail The Wanderer orders a new base of operations build on the shores. The men gladly set themselves to the task of building a town and a shipyard. Then on the day after the first two ships, baptized A New Hope and Victory are launched, he assembles his captains. We will not be able to take all troops at this moment. Wood and ore are scarce and it would take ages to build enough ships to accomodate all. And we wouldn't be able to bring the provisions to feed them all, anyway. A grave silence descends upon the captains. Me and one of the captains will take what nomads we have and set sail.... The rest.... keep building those ships and hoarding those provisions. The Wanderer looks to the floor in embarrasment. MADali, I need you to stay here... you have the best knowledge of the creatures in these parts.....
- Эпилог: The Lazy Dragon ************************************* Suddenly The Lazy Dragons Inn appears in the middle of Nevah. The Wanderer orders his captains and their troops to join him. The men visit the Inn and are in a magical fashion wisked away. After praying to the Gods of Old that his men will land in a safe and hospitable country, The Wanderer has a drink with the propiator. Melian, The Lazy Dragon, tells him that she has transported his heroes and troops to Erathia, but she cannot do the same for him. All I can do, is help you on your way to yet another realm.... Romendor! {The Wanderer} accepts her offer... what new adventures will lay before him, he wonders... It is something we might see in Heroes of Might and magic IV...

{Save Havens} - Острова D
- Пролог: Save Havens ************************************* The Wanderer has secured The Cloak of the Undead King, leaving Pulsar StarGraves minions nothing else but flee from the battlefield. With the help of the nomads and the minotaurs The Wanderer demolishes Cabal Corner and the Dungeongate and on its black foundation he has builded a new town. As months come and go The Wanderer's companions become restless. First Pointy takes off without one word of goodbye. Then Holst decides it is time for him to do some more research. He says: I will explore more of the Dungeon... The Black Dragons are very willing to accompany me, but I'm not sure you can afford the lack of their power. They will surely be missed, The Wanderer answers, but the strenght of the nomads and my new friends the minotaurs will bring us a long way. It is time for me too, to be on my way and find Erathia. After carefull delibirations MADali offers to stay and hold the fort, at least for a while...
- Эпилог: The Astral Wizard ************************************* After securing the perimeter the men relax behind the walls of Chill. When night falls the The Astral Wizard appears before The Wanderer in his astral form. I'll bring The Cloak of The Undead to safety. The Wanderer hands over The Cloak. Proceed north, by north-west... the road to Erathia is a long one, my friend... The wizard pauses for a moment. In all honesty I have my doubts if you will be able to find it. We had to pass through several magical barriers to get there and if not for the combined efforts of all The Quill's wizards, sorceresses and warlocks, I doubt we could have made it. The Wanderer nods. He was doubtfull when the odyssee started about the chances of succes, but he was determined to keep the troops hopefull. However, The Astral Wizard continues, There are a couple of realms that seem quite friendly... Try to find them and see if you can find an inn called The Lazy Dragon.... And with a poof of hot air the apparation disappears. The Wanderer} is puzzled.... An inn called The Lazy Dragon???
- Примечание: {The Wanderer} is still searching for {Erathia} and a way to keep {The Cloak of The Undead King} from the hands of {Pulsar StarGrave}... He must transport {The Cloak} to a certain town, where {The Astral Wizard} will appear to bring {The Cloak} to safety!!! If succesfull {The Wanderer} and his two best captains will carry over their experience. skills and spells to the next scenariol.
