  • A Present for Sari - Острова А
    • Пролог: It is good to be out on my own. After wandering aimlessly for two years I finally have the gold and desire to settle down. I have chosen my land and begun construction, and plan to invite my sister Sari to join me once she's finished her apprenticeship. There are many magical anomalies in this land to study and learn from.
    • Примечание: Rife's younger sister Sari will be celebrating both her birthday and the end of her apprenticeship to the Wizard Talmoth in six months. You have until that time to find a present and return with it to Castle Lore.
  • Conflict of Destiny - Острова В
    • Пролог: I always knew I had a dark side, and it seems the Orb has given it flesh and blood. I must make amends to the world for the evils I have inadvertantly released. I must find all Rifes and destroy them. Talmoth has found the location and name of the Master. In the center island of this region lies Dragonrife. The name bodes ill for my quest. With him are other Rifes, including some I've already vanquished. Sari, Lance and Kyllian must find a way to make their defeat permanent while I build my power and forces to face Dragonrife.
    • Эпилог: Not all the Rifes were on the island. I believe Dragonrife, and have accepted his offer of help to find the remaining Rifes and reintegrate them. The future he was forced to live will never come to pass. Our celebration is bittersweet, however. Kyllian is determined to end his existence, despite my protestations. He cannot stand to continue as a Necromancer. Dragonrife and I both can't help but feel responsible... but I think I may have the beginnings of a plan... Not the end...

  • Family Obligations - Острова С
    • Пролог: My brother Rife has gone missing. My mentor Talmoth reported seeing him last over a year ago, six months before my birthday. I have decided to quest for him, but first I must take care of some family obligations. I am in charge of my parent's lands while they vacation in Erathia, and must make sure they are secure before I depart. Two enemies threaten them at present: one is Xanatos, the lord to the north. He has ever been envious of my father's lands but was little more than a nusiance before now. Apparently he thinks me less of an opponent than my father. He is wrong. The other is a new presence, a wizard who has set up shop to the east. I know nothing of him, save that he has attacked any who enter 'his' lands. I must teach this newcomer who rules here.
    • Эпилог: I have secured my father's lands, and have entrusted Lance to maintain them while I am gone. Talmoth tells me access to Rife's lands has been cut off, both magically and physically. A large army under orders from someone called the 'Master' keeps any from entering. I fear for my brother's life. I will take what troops I can and venture to the next island. There I hope to find Kyllian, Rife's best friend. Together we will journey to Lore, defeating the Master's armies and any others who get in our way. If fortune is with us, we will find Rife there, alive and well.
    • Примечание: Secure your parent's lands from two enemies so that you may begin to quest for your brother Rife's whereabouts.
  • A Plague of Rifes - Острова D
    • Пролог: Looking upon the ruins of my former home, I can deny it no longer. I am undead. The last thing I remember is falling under the magic of the foul Kreegan Darkrife. I had been battling another usurping my best friend's name, Necrorife, and winning. Then Darkrife appeared with an army equaling my own. My army could not withstand both his and Necrorife's forces. We were defeated, and I was put to death. My castle has been razed to the ground. I do not know how my new existence came to be, but I vow to end it once I have exacted vengeance. The living will no longer follow me, so now I must court the same creatures I warred against to fight my enemies.
    • Эпилог: As glad as I am to have been rescued, I am almost ashamed to face the outside world. The near loss of my father's lands and the death and reanimation of Kyllian are both my fault, however indirectly. The birth of Necrorife, Darkrife, the lesser rifes, and I suspect the Master himself are directly my fault. Talmoth has confirmed this. The Orb I retrieved from the forest for Sari's birthday, which I had mistaken for an Orb of Vulnerability, is actually an Orb of Prismatic Separation. According to Talmoth and Sari's research, the Orb is an ancient relic created long ago to battle an evil wizard. This wizard was far too powerful for anyone to defeat single handedly, so one hero sacrificed himself and his army so that the wizard could claim the Orb as spoils of war. The Orb then split the wizard into several different heroes, each having one aspect of his personality, and a portion of his power. These weaker heroes were easier to beat than the one wizard whole, and afterwards the Orb of Prismatic Separation was hidden and lost.
    • Примечание: Kyllian, newly undead and confused, must avenge his death, rescue Sari, and investigate the plague of Rifes.
